Guillaume Wickel commence la clarinette à l’âge de 6 ans. Il suit une formation classique, puis jazz.

Plus tard, il se met à la clarinette basse, au saxophone, et s’ouvre à d'autres instruments ( Fender Rhodes, harmonium…).

Ses diverses expériences l'ont amené à jouer des musiques traditionnelles, du folk, des musiques contemporaines et improvisées, lors de concerts, expositions, pièces de théâtre ou spectacles de danse.

Guillaume Wickel starts playing clarinet at the age of 6, following classical, then jazz studies.

Later, he learnt bass clarinet, saxophone and opened his mind to other instruments (fender rhodes, harmonium,...).

He went to play traditional music, folk, contemporary and improvised music, in concerts, exhibitions, for theater plays or dance.
