Vanina Andréani pratique le violon au conservatoire dès l’âge de 7 ans.

Après avoir terminé cette formation, elle se met à jouer dans différents groupes, où elle alterne violon et violoncelle.

Elle intègre astrïd en 1998 et développera son instrumentarium (harmonium, fender rhodes, kalimba).
